Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is finally ready to be launched, and is set to
be one of the highlights of this week’s PS3 releases. Besides, there’s
also the PS Vita title, Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified which will
be launched tomorrow through retail and PSN. Sony’s online service will
have a few other new games to offer as well.
CoD: Black Ops 2
of course acts a sequel to its 2010 predecessor. Set in the near
future, this first-person shooter will have gamers undertaking yet
another Black Ops mission assignment. It will feature a single player
campaign that will be accompanied by branching storylines and non-linear
missions. The series’ strong-point, its multiplayer, has been
‘re-imagined,’ and it now kicks in futuristic weaponry and equipment
among other fresh traits. Various Zombies missions have also been
infused in the game, according to the developer.
According to a post on the official PlayStation blog, this week’s PS3
releases also include Planets Under Attack – a strategy adventure meant
for inexperienced as well as hard core fans of the genre, so claims the
developer. Created by Battle vs. Chess-maker Targem Games, this title is
due soon to launch on other platforms as well. Tekken Tag Tournament 2,
which was released in September this year, will now be landing on PSN
with all its much appreciated features. The game is said to contain the
largest roster of characters in the series till date.
